There are three of us, and they have given us a lovely new enclosure that is really big — the absolute largest one at the sanctuary! They know that we bald eagles are the most important birds here; they know we are what folks come to see. But even with our new place and our star billing, I still get annoyed and just want to scream.Â
I mean, if I were outside, I could be soaring in the clouds, and perching on very high branches, looking down on everything. In here I can fly 120 feet, and I can sit on a stick. Yeah, they feed me, but I just sit on a stick 20 feet in the air. It's frustrating and annoying. I'm annoyed in this photo. I'm screeching. I'm complaining. But, alas no one cares.
